Active Bodies. Active Minds

Screen time means when you are sitting still in front of any type of screen. You should try to spend less than two hours in front of a screen each day. Some examples of 'screen time' include spending time in front of:    

  • An iPod
  • An iPad or other tablets
  • Phone
  • Video games (Xbox, Playstation, etc.)
  • Computer
  • TV

Good ways to stay active in front of a screen are to play with a system such as Wii® or Kinect®.  You should try to play games that are sports, fitness or dance focused that get you up off the couch!
