Trapp was the consistent backbone of the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team throughout the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship and the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey. The Gahanna, Ohio, native and former Crew Soccer Academy player completed his first Major League Soccer season with the Columbus Crew, earning 15 starts and recording an assist while manning the central midfield. His MLS debut came on July 7 as he started during the Crew’s 1-0 victory against the Portland Timbers.
