As part of Major League Soccer's new partnership with Chipotle Mexican Grill, Crew Homegrown midfielder Wil Trapp recently presented with his Chipotle Homegrown Card. With the card, the 21-year-old will receive free burritos, bowls and tacos every day for the next year.
For his brace against the Philadelphia Union, Crew midfielder Bernardo Anor has been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week Three. Anor's honor comes after Federico Higuaín and Michael Parkhurst were named to the side in Week One.
Crew centerback Giancarlo Gonzalez earned Honorable Mention status after a good showing in the Crew backline against the Union.
To little surprise, Bernardo Anor's 35-yard smash to secure the Crew's 2-1 victory against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday is up for AT&T Goal of the Week honors. Anor is up against the LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane, Real Salt Lake's Álvaro Saborío, Chivas USA'a Erick Torres and FC Dallas' Fabian Castillo in Week Three voting.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays.
