Today, MLS is conducting the draw to determine the order for the Chivas USA Dispersal Draft, which is set to be held next Wednesday, November 19.
"To determine the draft order, MLS will hold a random weighted draw on Nov. 14 using an envelope method. The system will be weighted by giving the 2014 playoff clubs a single envelope and giving the non-playoff clubs two envelopes. The random selections will be conducted by an MLS league office representative until each club has been appointed a draft position."
Earlier this week, Crew Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter commented on the club's approach to the Chivas USA Dispersal Draft.
"We don't know where we're picking, so we're going to have to see," said the Crew boss. "We're going to have to see what's available. There are some decent players on their roster. We'll have to evaluate that when we find out what spot we're in and what's available."
