<p><strong>PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<p><strong>2014 (Columbus):</strong> Anor made 27 appearances: 11 starts and seven substitute appearances at left midfield and seven starts at leftback, with two substitute appearances at central attacking midfield. He recorded a career-best six goals as well. The midfielder made his first start of the 2014 season in the Black &amp; Gold&rsquo;s Season Opener against D.C. United (March 8). He scored two goals in in the club&rsquo;s 2-1 home-opener win against Philadelphia (March 22) and was named MLS Player of the Week for his efforts. Anor made his first start at the leftback position in the match against Real Salt Lake (June 4). He was sent off with a straight red card in his fifth consecutive start at leftback at New York (July 12). He suffered a hamstring strain in the match at New England (July 26) and did not play in the club&rsquo;s next five matches, but returned to the lineup in a substitute role versus Chivas USA (September 7) and notched his fifth goal of the season. The Venezuelan made his MLS Cup Playoffs debut with a substitute appearance in Columbus&rsquo; opener versus New England (November 1). He did not dress for the second leg at New England (November 9) after being listed as questionalble prior to the match. <p><strong>2013 (</strong><strong>Columbus</strong><strong>):</strong>&nbsp;In his return following a 2012 ACL surgery, he made 19 appearances, all starts, in the midfield and was awarded Black &amp; Gold&rsquo;s OhioHealth Comeback Player of the Year award. His four goals and one assist were critical to the club following the early-year, season-ending injury to Eddie Gaven as Anor split time across the midfield (three starts at right midfield, five starts at attacking central midfield and ten starts at left midfield). He made his first appearance of 2013 in the match at Philadelphia (June 5), his first League action since tearing his ACL on July 14, 2012 and made his first start of the season at left midfield against Montreal (June 15). He scored his first goal of the season -- a 78th-minute header from the top of the penalty area off of a Federico Higuain free kick -- in the match at LA (July 4) before scoring his second goal of the season -- the game-winner -- in as many games and returned to left midfield in the start against Portland (July 7). After starting in the international friendly against Wigan Athletic (July 13), he started at left wing in four straight League matches. He made his first start at central attacking midfield against New York (August 10) and a second start in the same spot against Toronto (August 17). He made one appearance, a start at forward in the 2-1 loss in the Fourth Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Chicago (June 13).</p>
<p><strong>2012 (</strong><strong>Columbus</strong><strong>):</strong>&nbsp;Anor appeared in 11 matches with five starts before suffering a season-ending ACL tear (July 14). Anor scored game-winner at Toronto FC (March 31). He was issued three yellow cards.<br />

    <strong>2011 (</strong><strong>Columbus</strong><strong>):</strong>&nbsp;As a rookie, Anor appeared in a total of 13 matches, including six starts. The Venezuelan recorded his first professional goal and assist at Houston (June 18). He was MLS Player of the Week following his first start in week 14. Anor appeared in one match as a sub in the 2011 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The midfielder appeared in six matches with five starts, scoring three goals and adding two assists in the MLS Reserve League.<br />

<p>Anor is the son of Bernardo Anor and Adriana Acosta. He has two brothers and one sister. His brother, Juan Pablo A&ntilde;or, plays foward for Atl&eacute;tico Malague&ntilde;o, the reserve team for La Liga&rsquo;s M&aacute;laga CF. He is fluent in the Spanish language. In his time off the field, Anor enjoys golfing, singing, dancing, going to the gym, coaching kids, watching television, reading and swimming when Columbus&rsquo; beautiful weather allows it. His favorite foods to eat include Arepas, French toast, breaded steak and chicken, and fettuccine alfredo. Anor enjoys watching suspense and action movies, comedies, and his go-to movie is the 2004 film &ldquo;Yes.&rdquo; He enjoys all types of music including Michael Jackson and Ricardo Arjona, but it all depends on his mood. Anor&rsquo;s favorite soccer player is Manchester City midfielder David Silva and he is a supporter of Real Madrid, M&aacute;laga CF and Manchester City. His favorite place he&rsquo;s traveled to is Italy and would like to visit Dubai, India, Thailand and La Gran Sabana in his native country of Venezuela. Anor does not have a specific favorite soccer memory because they are all memorable to him.&nbsp;</p>
