PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2014 (Crew/Dayton): Did not make a League appearance for the Crew during the 2014 season ... spent time on-loan with the Dayton Dutch Lions of USL-PRO ... made 25 appearances for Dayton and scored two goals ... started and scored in the match at Orange County (June 8) and was a substitute in matches at LA Galaxy II (June 9), at Arizona (June 11) and at Rochester (June 20) before starts against Orlando City SC (June 22), at Pittsburgh (June 28) and against Pittsburgh (July 2) ... made a substitute appearance at Charlotte (July 5) and versus Harrisburg (July 12) ... returned to the starting lineup versus Charlotte (July 19) and notched his second goal of the season ... made his debut in a Crew shirt for the club’s international friendly against Crystal Palace FC (July 23), coming on at halftime at midfield ... returned to Dayton and started the team’s next six matches ... did not dress for both the club’s postseason opener against New England (November 1) or in the second leg at the Revolution (November 9) ... Walker started two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches for Dayton: against Schwaben AC (May 15) and scored a goal in the 5-2 loss against Indy Eleven (May 28).

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE 

Hailing from Batavia, Ohio, Walker made 79 appearances during his four year career in Cincinnati at Xavier University. During his tenure as a Musketeer, Walker scored 26 goals and added 24 assists, posting double-digit goal and assist numbers as a junior before finishing his senior season with nine goals and seven assists.  
 
YOUTH EXPERIENCE 
 
Before Xavier, Walker played for Batavia High School, selected as his high school’s team MVP for three consecutive seasons. The DII All-Ohio First Team selection, Walker scored 48 goals and tallied 15 assists in his high school career. Walker set a school record for goals scored in a single season (48) and career goals scored (91) while also serving as a five-year member of the Ohio Development State team. The League Player of the Year as a sophomore, Walker also competed with the 2008 Region II Team Argentina Tour. In his final year of high school, Walker played for the Crew’s Under-18 squad.  He was a member of the Crew Juniors Super-20 squad that captured a national title in 2011 and was also on the U-19 squad that took home the 2012 U.S. Youth Soccer McGuire Cup. In 2011, Walker was named Crew Soccer Academy’s Under-19/20 Player of the Year.

Walker was signed as a Homegrown Player on January 8, 2014. 
 
PERSONAL 
 
Walker is the son of Robert and Stephanie Walker. He has an identical twin brother, who plays soccer at Xavier University. Walker enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends and family during his free time. He doesn’t have a preference for movie genres, but his favorite movies include “The Shawshank Redemption”, “Inception” and “Shutter Island”. His favorite type of music is alternative and folk, and his favorite band is Mumford and Sons. Walker’s favorite destination he’s visited is Buenos Aires and would like to travel to Sydney someday. His favorite non-MLS soccer team is Arsenal F.C. and his favorite soccer player is former French midfielder Zinedine Zidane. The Cincinnati native supports his hometown’s sports teams, the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.
