Crew fans can start to “Paint the Town Black & Gold” again as the Crew announces individual game MLS Cup 2010 Playoff tickets for both of its potential home games will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. Two-game packages that include both potential games, along with a commemorative scarf, will also remain available.

The Crew, which clinched its third successive playoff berth and trails New York by just a point in the Eastern Conference standings with one game to play, will host a wildcard team – either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the Western Conference – in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Nov. 6 or 7. If it advances as the highest remaining seed, it would host the Eastern Conference Championship between Nov. 11 and 14.

Individual game tickets will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Crew Stadium Box Office and all central Ohio Ticketmaster retail locations, via Ticketmaster phone at 800-745-3000 and on-line at CrewPlayoffs.com and Ticketmaster.com.

Prices range from $25-$45 in advance, while two-game packages range from $40-$76 for adults and $30-$76 for youths under 18. Special pricing and playoff scarves are also available for groups of 20 or more by calling 614-447-CREW. The design of this year’s scarf (depicted below) was selected through fan voting at TheCrew.com.

The top two teams in each conference, along with the teams with the next four best records regardless of conference, will qualify for the MLS Cup 2010 Playoffs. The first round – conference semifinals – are two-game, total-goals series, with the first game being played at the lower seed’s home field and Game 2 at the higher seed’s home. The Conference Championship matches are single games at the home of the highest surviving seed in each conference. MLS Cup 2010 is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 21, at BMO Field in Toronto.
