Ten Year Anniversary of USA vs. Mexico

USA vs. Mexico February 28, 2001

February 28 marks the Ten year anniversary of the USA Men's National Team infamous 2-0 win over Mexico here at Crew Stadium. Josh Wolf, replacing the injured Brian McBride in the 15th minute, scored the first goal of the match in the 47th minute. Wolf also assisted on the second goal to seal the victory for the Red, White and Blue. The win marked the first time in U.S. history the team posted three consecutive victories against Mexico and was the first in qualifying against Mexico since 1980.
