Columbus Crew Stadium and Ohio State Fair officials announced today that Journey will play Crew Stadium on Friday, Aug. 5. Tickets will go on sale April 16 at 10 a.m. at the Crew Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.
With such hits as “Who’s Cryin’ Now,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and “Open Arms,” Journey has long been considered one of America’s top rock bands. Legendary in the rock world, they have recently had their music showcased on TV shows like Glee and American Idol. Their new album, “Eclipse,” is set to hit stores on May 24.
Journey will be joined by special guest Foreigner, who will bring their own catalog of rock hits to the stage. Foreigner’s hits include “Juke Box Hero,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Hot Blooded” and “Cold as Ice.” And Night Ranger will kick the night off with classic hits like "You Can Still Rock in America" and "Sister Christian."

Located adjacent to the Ohio Expo Center, Crew Stadium is a 20,145-seat facility with the ability to hold up to 35,000 for concerts, that features a permanent main stage and roof structure. It is home to the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer and is a target destination for other marquee sports and entertainment events including U.S. Soccer matches, NFL exhibitions, NCAA soccer and concerts.
