Crew and RadiOhio launch weekly radio show

The Columbus Crew, in conjunction with RadiOhio, announced today that they are launching a new weekly magazine show called “Inside the Crew” Tuesdays from 8-9 p.m. on 1460 ESPN Columbus. The first show will air this Tuesday, April 5.

“Bringing a weekly radio show to the market is a major addition to our media offerings,” said Crew President & General Manager Mark McCullers. “There are so many great topics to cover within the Crew and local soccer communities, and the affiliation with ESPN Columbus and The Fan is a natural fit.”

“Inside the Crew” will be hosted by Crew radio play-by-play announcer Neil Sika and TV analyst Duncan Oughton, who retired following the 2010 season from a 10-year career in which he became the club’s longest serving player. They will be joined every week by compelling guests to talk about Crew soccer and the sport, as a whole, in our region.

“We look forward to partnering with the Crew on this new show,” said Jay Taylor, Director of Programming and Operations for RadiOhio. “Inside the Crew will bring a local perspective to the mainstream fan and expose them to the most popular sport in the world.”

In addition to being available over the air on 1460 ESPN Columbus, it will also be simulcast on FM – HD radio at 97.1-2 (Channel 2).
