The Crew finished first in the MLS Reserve League’s East Division with a 9-1-0 record, which was also the league’s best record.

After losing its first match, 3-1 at D.C. on March 20, the Crew reserves went on to win its next nine, including spectacular victories at New York (6-1 on May 30) and New England (5-1 on Oct. 16). The Crew was the only team in the MLS Reserve League to win nine matches this season.

The Crew reserves earned the most points of any team in the MLS Reserve League (27). The Seattle  Sounders were second with an 8-1-1 record for 25 points.

The Black & Gold reserves led the league in goals with 29. The Portland Timbers were second with 24. The Crew also had the best goal differential at plus-19.

A total of 42 players appeared in Reserve League matches for the Crew, including 15 guest players. Three of those players (Dominic Aracri, Khai Celestin and Chris Davis) are Crew Soccer Academy players.

Forward Justin Meram led the team in both goals and assists, with five and three respectively.

Three goalkeepers featured in the 10 Reserve League matches, Andy Gruenebaum, Alex Riggs and guest player Chris Konopka. The three gave up only 10 goals (tied for fewest in the league) to post a 1.00 goals against average.
