ROCK ON THE RANGE 2012, the festival’s sixth year, is set for Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20 at Crew Stadium. The festivities will kick off for the second straight year with the ROTR Friday night party, which is absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase.
Pre-sale layaway weekend tickets for America’s premier destination rock festival will go on sale in time for the holidays, available starting Cyber Monday (Nov. 28) at 10 a.m. (ET) at www.rockontherange.com. Weekend Field GA layaway tickets can be purchased for $134.50 and Stadium GA layaway tickets will be $99.50, plus convenience fees. A four-ticket minimum purchase is required. Layaway tickets will be available for purchase through Feb. 29, 2012 and regular tickets will go on sale in early 2012.

ROCK ON THE RANGE is also sponsoring a contest to name the festival’s Friday night party on its Facebook page. The person who suggests the winning name will win a free VIP package for two to ROTR 2012 and will have the opportunity to announce one of the bands on stage Friday night. Fans can submit their ideas for a name for the Friday night party on the ROTR Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/#!/rockontherange) through Nov. 29, under the event tab on the left side of the page. The ROTR producers will pick the top five names which will then be posted on the main ROTR Facebook page for “Rangers” to vote for their favorite. If the same name is submitted by multiple people, the first person who posted the name will qualify for entrance in the contest.

The nationally renowned festival centrally located in the heart of the country has annually drawn weekend crowds in excess of 70,000 since its inception in 2007.
Located adjacent to the Ohio Expo Center, Crew Stadium is a 20,145-seat facility with the ability to hold up to 35,000 for concerts, that features a permanent main stage and roof structure.
