Tickets to First Kick 2012, the Crew’s first home match of the regular season, will go on sale this Monday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m., at the Crew Stadium Box Office, all central Ohio Ticketmaster retail locations, by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 and on-line at TheCrew.com. Prices start at $22.
The match has been scheduled for Saturday, March 24, and the opponent and time will be announced soon, along with the rest of the 2012 schedule. Major League Soccer’s 17th season will kick off on Saturday, March 10, 2012, and First Kick presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods will see all but one MLS club play in front of their home fans by the end of Week 3 of the 2012 regular season.
The Crew’s home opener has been scheduled for that third weekend, marking the fourth straight season that the Black & Gold will play its first home game on the fourth Saturday of March, and the first time since 2006 that it will be as late as Week 3.
