The Crew returns to MLS play Saturday night in New England, here are some headlines from throughout the week to get you ready for the matchup:
Midfielder Chris Birchall got married in England last weekend, and returned to the Crew's training ground in Obetz on Wednesday. The Trinidad & Tobago International will be ready to go if called upon on Saturday.
Also returning from abroad was head coach Robert Warzycha. Warzycha spent the past week in his home country of Poland experiencing Euro 2012.
Yet another member of the Black & Gold returned to the training ground as well this week. Olman Vargas was happy to be back in Crew camp after spending time with the Costa Rican national team for World Cup Qualifying.
The Columbus Dispatch's Adam Jardy talked with Crew president Mark McCullers on the current state of the team.
