Boston College goalkeeper and Crew Soccer Academy standout Justin Luthy's college career ended last Thursday night as BC fell to crosstown rival Northeastern 1-0 in the First Round of the 2012 NCAA College Cup Tournament. Luthy made six saves on the night to keep the Golden Eagles in the match. Nonetheless, Luthy goes down as one of the greatest netminders in school history.

7,400 - minutes played in Luthy's four-year career at Boston College. The Dublin native has played more minutes in goal than anyone in school history.


486 - minutes, Luthy held opponents scoreless for a span of 485 minutes during the 2012 season.


351 - saves, Luthy is Boston College's all-time leader in career saves.


1.05 - Goals against average, Luthy has allowed just over one goal per game in his four years for the Golden Eagles.


43 - Wins, Luthy has compiled more wins than any other goalkeeper in Boston College history.


25 - Shutouts, Luthy has kept a clean sheet 25 times in his college career. Luthy's 25 shutouts rank him second on the Boston College leaderboard behind Gordie Farkouh.
