Moment of the Year nominee: USA vs. Jamaica

USA

Facing a must-win against Jamaica in 2014 World Cup, the U.S. Men's National Team returned to its unofficial home of Crew Stadium for the crucial tilt against the Reggae Boyz on September 11. In front of a capacity crowd of 23,881, the U.S. claimed an important three points behind Herculez Gomez's 55th minute free kick strike.

After the match, U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard complimented the atmosphere of Crew Stadium.

"This is the one true, real home advantage we have in America," he told TheCrew.com.

The incredible atmosphere at Crew Stadium proved once again to be a fortress for the National Team, helping to build momentum for a match in Columbus during the Hexagonal Round of qualifiying in 2013.
