COLUMBUS – The Columbus Crew today announced, in conjunction with Major League Soccer, that the 2013 MLS Business Summit is being held in Columbus September 10-12, 2013. For the second consecutive year, the Summit brings together representatives in every functional area from the League office and all member clubs to develop strategies and share best practices.

Columbus will become be a think tank for MLS, as we continue to strive to reach our goal of being one of the world's best soccer leagues by the year 2022.”
Participants will attend the U.S. National Team World Cup Qualifying match vs. Mexico at Crew Stadium – home of the three famed Dos a Cero U.S. victories – on September 10, surrounding the Business Summit events. Columbus has previously hosted other signature League events, including the 2000 and 2005 MLS All-Star Games and MLS Cup 2001.
