 ·         While coverage of forward Dominic Oduro’s Papa John’s (of Columbus) celebration continues to be a hot topic, his 15th-minute goal against the Chicago Fire has also received a lot of notoriety. On Monday, it was announced that Oduro was one of five nominees for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for Week 30. ·         Last week we brought to you part one of our ¡Viva el Futbol! series featuring Agustin Viana as a part of Hispanic Heritage Month. In episode two, Crew midfielder Matias Sanchez opens up on his youth in Argentina and why cooking the traditional asado dish is all about family.


·         Tony Tchani’s efforts in central midfield earned him entry to Sports Illustrated’s MLS Team of the Week. According to Avi Creditor, “The Crew had everything working Saturday night, with Tony Tchani commanding the center of the park,” giving the Black & Gold a crucial three points and a two-spot jump in this week’s Power Rankings
