Dominic Oduro’s 13 goals this season are a career high and tied Andres Mendoza (2011) for the Crew’s highest goal-scoring output in the last five seasons. Oduro’s 13 tallies also marked third-highest goal-scoring clip for a player in his first year in a Crew jersey, trailing only Brian McBride with 17 goals in 1996 and Stern John, who scored 26 goals in 1998.

Tyson Wahl’s first season in Columbus was also a career year. 2013 was his eighth season in the League that began with Kansas City in 2006 before stops in Seattle, Montreal and Colorado. Wahl has made a career-high 24 appearances this year, including 23 starts. His 2,065 minutes are also a career high after posting 1,350 in 2012 while splitting time in Montreal and Colorado. Wahl has made 24 appearances, including 19 starts at leftback and has started the last five matches at centerback.

The Crew has utilized young talent all season and three players have found consistent playing time for the Black & Gold this year. Rookie Homegrown Players Wil Trapp and Chad Barson have become stalwarts in the Crew lineup as Trapp made his 15th career start and Barson made his 20th in the match at New England. 25-year-old Bernardo Anor -- seeing a myriad of minutes in 2013 following the injury to Eddie Gaven -- could make his 20th start of the season (44th overall) as his 19 appearances this season are already a career high.

Aaron Schoenfeld’s goal last Saturday in New England was his first career strike and a tally that earned him a nomination for AT&T Goal of the Week. Schoenfeld becomes the 12th different Crew player in 2013 to record a goal and fifth player in Black & Gold to record their first career goal in MLS this season, joining Ben Speas, Glauber, Ryan Finley and Matias Sanchez.
