COLUMBUS – The Columbus Crew announced today that forward Jairo Arrieta has been called-up for National Team duty ahead of ahead of Costa Rica’s upcoming friendly matches. Under Head Coach Jorge Luis Pinto, Costa Rica travels to face fellow 2014 FIFA World Cup finalist Chile on Wednesday, January 22 before squaring-off against South Korea in the United States on Saturday, January 25 at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Following the matches, Arrieta is set to join the Crew in Bradenton, Fla. for the Black & Gold’s first trip of the 2014 preseason schedule.
