As the preseason enters into its final leg, Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter made a handful of roster moves last week. Friday, days before the team was to leave for Florida to participate in the Disney Pro Soccer Classic, MLS SuperDraft picks Ben Sweat and Kingsley “Fifi” Baiden were signed. Adam Jardy of the

Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter said on Friday that he wouldn’t be surprised if SuperDraft picks Ben Sweat and Kingsley “Fifi” Baiden, “both got on the field this year.” Find out more in this MLSsoccer.com piece why the Black & Gold boss brought the rookies on-board ahead of the Orlando trip.


While the team only spent a week of training indoors, Berhalter made sure he used every minute he could to make his players better. Friday came with intensive training, roster changes and an opportunity of a lifetime for two MLS SuperDraft picks.
