Lampson welcomes LLS Heroes in Kansas City and Houston

During the recent Crew road stretch, Matt Lampson was able to meet with two great families as part of his continued efforts with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In Kansas City, Matt met with 10-year-old Anna Powers and her family. Through Sporting Kansas City’s Victory Project, Anna was able to also meet with Sporting players and watch the match from a special suite. In Houston, Matt worked with LLS to bring 8-year-old Noah Bratsch and his family to BBVA Compass Stadium. Noah, is currently in remission from ALL thanks to his treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Looking to continue the Hero program that Lampson started during the 2013 season, the goalkeeper will be working with LLS to invite a child and their family to every home and away match during the 2014 season.
