SKC TOR

1. Sporting Kansas City  38 pts. | 2-1 win at Toronto FC; Week 21: vs. Philadelphia Union

In a week where many Eastern Conference sides had byes from League play, Sporting Kansas City extended its lead atop the standings with a gigantic road victory at Toronto FC.

2. D.C. United – 34 pts. Bye; Week 21: vs. Toronto FC, at Houston Dynamo

No League play for the Black-and-Red in Week 20, but now a stern home test against Toronto FC awaits, followed by a trip to Houston in what could be DaMarcus Beasley's debut.

3. Toronto FC 26 pts. | 2-1 loss vs. Sporting Kansas City; Week 21: at D.C. United, at Montreal Impact

Toronto FC missed a chance to make up ground in the East with a home defeat to leaders Sporting Kansas City. A double-match week might help it recover.

4. Columbus Crew  26 pts. | 2-1 win at New England Revolution; Week 21: at Chicago Fire

Gregg Berhalter has been stressing that the way MLS is, even a small winning streak can make a huge difference in the standings. Two victories and six points later and the Crew is fourth in the Conference.

5. New York Red Bulls  24 pts. | Bye; Week 21: at Real Salt Lake, vs. New England Revolution

New York defeated Arsenal in a weekend friendly and now has a trip to Real Salt Lake on the horizon.

6. New England Revolution — 23 pts. 2-1 loss vs. Columbus Crew; Week 21: vs. Colorado Rapids, at New York Red Bulls

New England's struggles continue: eight straight defeats for the Revs.

7. Philadelphia Union  23 pts.Bye; Week 21: at Sporting Kansas City

Fresh off of its friendly with the Crew, Crystal Palace traveled to Philadelphia and won 1-0 at PPL Park.

8. Chicago Fire 20 pts. | 5-1 loss at San Jose Earthquakes; Week 21: vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC, vs. Columbus Crew

Chicago is another Eastern club with a double-match week, important to note because the Fire play against Vancouver just three days prior to hosting the Crew.

9. Houston Dynamo  19 pts.Bye; Week 21: vs. D.C. United

Houston welcomes DaMarcus Beasley to town at the perfect time: 13 of the club's final 14 matches are against Eastern Conference foes, and the lone Western clash is a difficult trip to Seattle.

10. Montreal Impact 14 pts. | 3-1 loss at Real Salt lake, 3-2 loss vs. Portland Timbers; Week 21: vs. Toronto FC

A disappointing week for Montreal, which lost two games in a week where many Eastern sides were on bye.
