Black & Gold Bullets: September 15

Black & Gold Bullets

In case you missed Saturday’s match, make sure to read up on how the Crew managed to secure a draw on the road despite trailing by two goals at halftime. MLSsoccer.com’s  Andrew King examines things from a Crew perspective, while Darrell Lovell tells the Houston side of the story.

Take a look at full-match highlights, as well as Wil Trapp’s first career MLS goal and Ethan Finlay’s header, which knotted the game up, in the 58th minute.

Will Parchman of Top Drawer Soccer has nothing but praise for Trapp’s first career goal. Last month, Parchman mentioned Trapp as one of the most impressive MLS players under the age of 24.

MLS Commisioner Don Garber will remain in his role through at least the 2018 season after signing a five-year contract. Garber is also interested in testing-out instant replay in MLS as soon as 2015.
