JULY 25, 2009: Two Assists in Win vs. TFC

What's better than beating your rival? How about beating your rival in stoppage time, in front of your home crowd? Hejduk provided two assists to help the Crew capture the Trillium Cup over Toronto FC in a 3-2 win a Crew Stadium, including the match-winner to Jason Garey in the 92nd minute.

FEBRUARY 11, 2009: Dos a Cero 2009

In his final appearance for the Stars & Stripes at Crew Stadium, Hejduk started and played all 90 minutes against archrival Mexico in the USMNT's third-straight "Dos a Cero" win over Mexico in Columbus. Though the charismatic rightback wouldn't go to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa with the Americans, he was crucial in his country's qualification. Hejduk set-up the corner for Michael Bradley's 43rd-minute winner and was vital along the backline in securing the shutout at Crew Stadium.

November 23, 2008: MLS Cup

The exclamation point. The cherry on top. Making a run out of his rightback position, Hejduk connected with a Guillermo Barros Schelotto chipped pass to put the Crew up 3-1 over the New York Red Bulls in the 2008 MLS Cup Final to help deliver the first professional sports championship to Columbus.

October 4, 2008: One with the Fans

Serving a red-card suspension in a sold-out home match against the LA Galaxy, what else was the beloved captain supposed to do? So Frankie.
