New England continues to be the hottest team in the Eastern Conference, handing the Red Bulls their first loss of the season while extending their own unbeaten streak to seven games (5-0-2).


D.C. United – 17 pts. | 2-0 Win vs. Columbus Crew SC, Week Ten: vs. Sporting Kansas City
United slotted home two first-half goals to extend its home unbeaten streak to 16 games (across all competitions) after shutting out a Crew SC team that had scored 12 goals in its previous seven matches.


New York Red Bulls – 13 pts. | 1-2 Loss at New England, Week Ten: vs. NYCFC
Only three days after drawing the Colorado Rapids, 1-1, the Red Bulls fell from the ranks as the only undefeated team in the Eastern Conference, succumbing to the red hot New England Revolution.


Columbus Crew SC – 11 pts. | 0-2 Loss at D.C. United, Week Ten: vs. Seattle Sounders FC
After a first half with zero shots on target, Crew SC decided to shake things up with two half-time substitutions and nearly pulled itself within one after quality second-half chances from Ethan Finlay, Federico Higuain and Kristinn Steindorsson.

A 35-yard freekick from Sebastian Giovinco lifted Toronto over the Philadelphia Union, closing its season-opening, seven-game road trip with a win.


Chicago Fire – 9 pts. | 0-1 Loss at Sporting Kansas City, Week Ten: vs. Real Salt Lake
The Fire came into Kansas City riding a three-match winning streak, only to be handed their fourth loss of the season thanks to a late goal from Paulo Nagamura.


Orlando City SC – 8 pts. | Off, Week Ten: vs. New England Revolution
After a week off from MLS play, Orlando City SC looks to break New England’s unbeaten streak when it hosts the Eastern Conference’s top team on Friday.


Philadelphia Union – 6 pts. | 0-1 Loss vs. Toronto FC, Week Ten: at Vancouver Whitecaps FC
The Union’s woes continue, having lost three straight for its worst start in franchise history.


New York City FC – 6 pts. | 1-3 Loss vs. Seattle Sounders, Week Ten: at New York Red Bulls
NYCFC succumbed to the offensive power of Obafemi Martins, who scored two goals and set up another to help extend Seattle’s winning streak to three games. New York, meanwhile, is winless in seven straight games, having lost three in a row.
