MLS Power Rankings: Week 33

Crew SC came up with a big shutout win over Toronto FC on Saturday to end a two-match losing streak and clinch a spot in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs. The 2-0 victory over the Eastern Conference rival gave the Black & Gold a big bump in this week’s Power Rankings.

admits being up and down on Crew SC all season. Calling the Black & Gold’s victory in Toronto “huge,” MLS moves Columbus up four spots to third, just behind Supporters’ Shield contenders New York Red Bulls and FC Dallas.

moves Crew SC up three ranks from seventh to fourth. Sports Illustrated gives Toronto the edge over the Black & Gold despite Saturday’s result. Steve Clark and Michael Parkhurst feature in SI’s Best XI of the week.

 also gives Columbus a hefty bump after making the playoffs with last Saturday's win. Crew SC is up three spots from sixth to third, behind Eastern Conference leaders New York Red Bulls and Western Conference Vancouver Whitecaps.
