Columbus Crew SC today announced that it is set to expand MAPFRE Stadium’s capacity ahead of the First Leg of the Eastern Conference Championship against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, November 22. As of this afternoon, all of MAPFRE Stadium’s lower level is already sold out and as such, the Black & Gold are adding temporary general admission bleacher seating on MAPFRE Stadium’s stage on the north side of the venue to accommodate extra supporters. The majority of the upper-level seats for the match are already sold out.

Nordecke seating also expanded to include the entirety of Section 102, which has already sold out. Once more, MAPFRE Stadium will have half-off all beers in the first half for supporters 21-and-over on November 22 in the club’s Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoff battle in Central Ohio. In Crew SC's first home postseason match this year against the Montreal Impact on Sunday, November 8, the Black & Gold welcomed 19,026 supporters, representing Crew SC's second-largest home postseason crowd in venue history and its largest since September 22, 2001.

Crew SC is returning to the Eastern Conference Championship for the sixth time in club history and the first time since 2008. The First Leg on Sunday, November 22 kicks-off at 5:00 p.m. ET and is set to be televised nationally on ESPN as well as available locally on the radio on CD102.5 FM (English) and La Mega 103.1 FM (Spanish). Of the four remaining finalists in this year's Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs, the Black & Gold are the only club to ever have won MLS Cup before. Crew SC's six Conference Championship appearances are two ahead of both the Red Bulls and FC Dallas, who are set to make their fourth trips to this round of the postseason, as well as four ahead of Portland, which will be playing in its second Conference Championship.
