Seven years ago today, the Black & Gold lifted the MLS Cup with a 3-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls. Relive that historic November 23, as Crew SC is one match away from clinching a berth in the 2015 MLS Cup after defeating the Red Bulls 2-0 in the First Leg of the Eastern Conference Championship.
Crew SC and New York will meet for the decisive Second Leg at Red Bull Arena at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 29. Should the Black & Gold advance along with the Portland Timbers, who defeated FC Dallas 3-1 in the First Leg of the Western Conference Championship, Columbus would host the 2015 MLS Cup at MAPFRE Stadium.
