Columbus Crew SC Brand Ambassador Frankie Hejduk spent the morning at High Point Elementary as part of the school’s “The Leader in Me” program.
The event was one in a series focusing on different habits of effective leaders. The theme this month is “Sharpen the Saw,” so Hejduk spoke to students about how eating right, being active and getting enough sleep all play an important role in being able to stay focused.
Along with speaking, Hejduk led the students in a few chants and even did a little dancing. This event was part of Crew SC’s “Give Forward” initiative which is sponsored by MAPFRE Insurance.
