The first edition of ESPN FC's Major League Soccer Power Rankings is out and, according to the experts, Crew SC is among the top contenders for the 2016 MLS Cup.
The Black & Gold rank second in ESPN FC's ranking, behind the defending champs, Portland Timbers. Both teams will square off for an MLS Cup rematch at Providence Park at 4:30 p.m. Sunday (live on ESPN).
"Gregg Berhalter's team will surely enter the new year hungry for redemption," ESPN FC says, adding that "all of the weapons are in place for another chance at glory."
Several ESPN analysts have also made their predictions for MLS Cup, Supporters' Shield and Eastern Conference Championship, and Crew SC is the top choice for a few of them. Find out who picked the Black & Gold here.
