Five Crew SC players are on National Team duty, with four of them making appearances this past week. Shawn Mitchell of The Columbus Dispatch covered Ethan Finlay, Wil Trapp, Harrison Afful, Rodrigo Saravia and Tony Tchani's international matches.


Rodrigo Saravia started for Guatemala against the U.S. on Friday and Shawn Mitchell covered his success as a National Team starter. See what Rodrigo has to say about his experience with Guatemala.


Tony Tchani made an appearance for Cameroon in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, making him cap-tied to the Cameroon National Team. ESPN FC wrote on Tchani's recent cap tie. NBC Sports also added a piece on his appearance for Cameroon.


During the off week, the Black and Gold held a scrimmage against their USL affiliate, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Crew SC recorded a 2-0 victory over the Riverhounds on Friday. Pat Murphy of Massive Report covered the scrimmage.
