Earth Day is around the corner and a group of Columbus Crew SC supporters is getting together to do its part for the environment.
The Black & Gold faithful plan to clean up the Hudson Street area around MAPFRE Stadium between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. Join them as they are picking up litter and having a good time. Some litter grabbers and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own work gloves. The group will meet at parking lot at the north end of MAPFRE Stadium.
The event is part of Earth Day Columbus, an initiative by Green Columbus. For the past nine years, central Ohioans have logged 82,000 hours of service on establishing gardens, cleaning river banks, popping honeysuckle and planting trees.
