Crew SC collected another three points in its 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo. Let’s break down the Black & Gold’s second consecutive win at home by the numbers…

Crew SC extended its unbeaten streak against the Dynamo at MAPFRE Stadium to nine matches. The Black & Gold last lost to Houston in Columbus on April 26, 2008. All time, the Black & Gold are 6-1-4 against the Dynamo at home.

The Black & Gold dominated offensively with 11 corners for its second consecutive match. Crew SC also had 11 shots on the night, five of which came from Justin Meram. The midfielder continues to lead his team this season in shots on goal with 10 (Kei Kamara has 9).

For the majority of the night, the ball was in the possession of the Black & Gold. Crew SC stuck to its game plan and had the most possession it has seen all season. The previous high was 61% against Portland in week 1.

Goalkeeper Steve Clark made his 75th start for Crew SC. He has started every regular-season match since the beginning of 2014. Clark joins only three other goalkeepers who have hit 75 starts for Columbus (William Hesmer, Jon Busch, Andy Gruenebaum).

Crew SC maintained a passing accuracy above 80% for a second consecutive week, averaging 88% percent against the Dynamo. Midfielder Wil Trapp, one of the League's best in successful passes, had a total of 33 passes with an accuracy of 87.9%. Mohammed Saeid led Crew SC starters with 34 total passes and an accuracy of 94.1%.

Defender Tyson Wahl notched the 150th appearance of his MLS career. He joins the 66 other active MLS players to reach 150, including Crew SC teammates Kei Kamara, Corey Ashe, Conor Casey, Michael Parkhurst and Tony Tchani.
