Major League Soccer announced today that the kickoff time for Crew SC's road contest on Saturday, May 21 against Toronto FC at BMO Field has been moved to 5:00 p.m. ET (original time was 7:30 p.m. ET). The television broadcast of the contest shifts from The CW Columbus to FOX-28 in Columbus and the broadcast of the match remains as scheduled on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, BCSN2, CD102.5 FM, La Mega 103.1 FM. The club will also provide the English radio stream on ColumbusCrewSC.com as scheduled.
Coverage on FOX-28 begins at 5:00 p.m. ET. Exclusively on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel and BCSN2, "Crew SC Matchday," the pre-match show hosted by Chris Doran, begins at 4:30 p.m. ET, with "Crew SC Post-Match" immediately following the action.
The match is the first leg of the Trillium Cup rivalry series in 2016 and is part of Major League Soccer's annual Heineken Rivalry Week, which returns for the third consecutive year. The Black & Gold have captured the Cup six times over the eight years it has been contested, including last season. Crew SC holds an all-time record of 12-5-8 against Toronto FC since the Reds' entry into MLS ahead of the 2007 campaign.
