Rodrigo Saravia earns fourth cap for Guatemala

Crew SC rookie Rodrigo Saravia was called up to the Guatemala National Team on Tuesday for an international friendly against Venezuela that took place last night, Wednesday, June 1.


In the contest, Saravia registered his fourth cap for Guatemala, starting at right midfield for his country and playing a full 90 minutes at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In front of 7,217 fans, Guatemala took the lead in the 68' behind a goal from forward Gerson Betuel Tinoco. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.


Saravia has played six times for Crew SC in his rookie campaign, making one start.
