In Mauritius this morning, Harrison Afful and Ghana defeated Club M by a 2-0 final, clinching Group H in Africa Cup of Nations qualification and ensuring their spot in the tournament, set to be held in January and February of 2017.
The Crew SC defender started the contest for the Black Stars, registering his 61st cap for Ghana.
Also, in other international action, DR Congo defeated Madagascar 6-1, cementing its lead atop Group B in AFCON qualification. Crew SC's Cedrick Mabwati was in the matchday squad but did not make an appearance in the win.
