Crew SC midfielder Cristian Martinez and the Panama Under-20 National Team took on Peru last night in Panama City. Martinez was selected in the starting 11 and wore the captain's armband. The midfielder opened the scoring with a 16th minute goal. In the 57th minute, Martinez was subbed out of the match after helping his team take a 3-1 lead. Panama went on to win the match 4-1.
Martinez and the Panama U-20's are back in action on Thursday night in a rematch against Peru.
