Columbus Crew SC’s USL affiliate — the Pittsburgh Riverhounds— kept their playoff hopes alive with their 2-0 shutout against Orlando City B last Saturday night.

Crew SC loan Zack Steffen had two saves on the night and registered his first shutout since becoming a Riverhound on a game-to-game loan basis. Steffen’s Crew SC teammate and fellow loanee Marshall Hollingsworth also contributed to the clean sheet, playing the full 90 for Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh’s Chevaughn Walsh (71st) kicked off the scoring via a Kevin Kerr assist. A goal by the Riverhound's leading scorer Corey Hertzog in stoppage time sealed the Riverhound's victory over Orlando.

Next up, the Riverhounds will head to Charlotte to face the Independence on Saturday at 7 p.m.
