CREW SC: DOMINANT AT HOME

Since the beginning of the 2017 MLS regular season, no team has earned more points at home than Crew SC. Since then, the Crew has posted a record of 27-5-8, tallying 89 points at MAPFRE Stadium. Notably, the Black & Gold are also tied with the New York Red Bulls and Seattle Sounders FC for most wins at home (26) over that same span.

PEDRO SANTOS: GAME-WINNER

Through five matches in the 2019 MLS regular season, Pedro Santos has either scored or assisted the game-winning goal in each of Crew SC's three wins. Santos provided the game-winning helper in the Crew's wins against the New England Revolution (March 9) and against FC Dallas (March 16) before scoring the game- winning goal in Columbus' win over Atlanta United on Saturday. Notably, Santos is currently the only player in the League to have provided two or more game-winning assists during the 2019 MLS regular season.

ZARDES SCORES THIRD GOAL OF 2019 REGULAR SEASON

Gyasi Zardes scored Crew SC’s second goal of the night in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Atlanta United. Zardes scored in the 39th minute, when he received a low cross from Robinho which he then sent to the back of the net. With the strike, Zardes brought his 2019 regular-season scoring total to three goals, as he had previously registered a brace in Crew SC’s 2-0 road victory over the New England Revolution (March 9).

ROBINHO TALLIES FIRST REGULAR-SEASON ASSIST FOR THE BLACK & GOLD

Robinho recorded his first regular-season assist for Crew SC during Saturday's home contest against Atlanta United. The Brazilian found Gyasi Zardes in the 39th minute of the contest, crossing the ball to Zardes after receiving a through ball from Federico Higuain. Since joining the Crew ahead of the 2019 season, Robinho has made five regular-season appearances (three starts).

HIGUAIN REGISTERS ASSIST AGAINST ATLANTA UNITED

Midfielder Federico Higuain registered his second assist of the 2019 regular season in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Atlanta United. Higuain’s helper came in the 39th minute, when he played a ball to Robinho, who then set up Gyasi Zardes to score Crew SC’s second goal of the evening. In 2019, Higuain has made five regular- season appearances (all starts). The Argentine is currently tied with Pedro Santos as Crew SC's joint assists leaders for the 2019 MLS regular season.

HIGUAIN NEARING ALL-TIME CREW SC REGULAR-SEASON ASSISTS RECORD

Since joining Crew SC in 2012, midfielder Federico Higuain has provided 60 assists in regular-season action. The Argentine is second on the Crew's list of all-time regular-season assists leaders, behind only Robert Warzycha (61). Should Higuain notch two more helpers in regular-season action, he would become Crew SC’s all-time leader in this category.

STEFFEN REGISTERS THIRD CONSECUTIVE SHUTOUT

Zack Steffen recorded his third consecutive shutout of the 2019 MLS regular-season shutout during Saturday's 2-0 win over Atlanta United. The goalkeeper made five saves against Atlanta en route to helping Crew SC earn its second consecutive home win. With his clean sheet during the match, Steffen brought his all-time regular-season total to 22 shutouts, tying with Steve Clark for third place on Crew SC’s list of all-time regular-season shutout leaders behind only William Hesmer (41) and Jon Busch (25).
