CREW SC UNDEFEATED AT HOME SINCE JUNE OF 2018


Crew SC is undefeated at MAPFRE Stadium across all competitions dating back to June 13 of last year. Over that span, the Black & Gold have posted a winning record of 10-0-2 at home while outscoring opponents 19-8. In addition to notching 10 wins at MAPFRE Stadium, the Crew has scored in all but one match - a 0-0 draw against the Philadelphia Union in 2018 (September 29) - while posting five shutouts.


CREW SC: DOMINANT AT HOME


Since the beginning of the 2017 MLS regular season, no team has tallied more points at home (85) than Crew SC across all competitions. Over that span, the Crew has posted a winning record of 26- 5-7 at MAPFRE Stadium, tallying 85 points and winning the most home matches in regular-season action.


CREW HAS SCORED IN EVERY HOME MATCH SINCE OCTOBER 28, 2018


Crew SC has scored in every home match across all competitions dating back to October 28, 2018, compiling a winning record of 5-0-1. Through the six matches at MAPFRE Stadium, the Crew has scored against Minnesota United FC (October 28), the New York Red Bulls (November 4, March 2), FC Dallas (March 16), Atlanta United (March 30) and the New England Revolution (March 6). Notably, Columbus has outscored its opponents 9-3 over that span.


CREW HAS ONLY ALLOWED ONE GOAL AT HOME IN 2019


Through four home matches in the 2019 MLS regular season, Crew SC has only conceded one goal when playing at MAPFRE Stadium. The Black & Gold last conceded during the sixth-minute of the Opening Match against the New York Red Bulls (March 2), meaning the Club has gone 354 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal, posting shutouts against FC Dallas (March 16), Atlanta United (March 30) and the New England Revolution (April 6).


BLACK & GOLD DEFENSE AMONG THE BEST IN MLS


This season, Crew SC has only allowed five goals in seven regular-season matches, while posting four shutouts. The Black & Gold are currently tied with Seattle Sounders FC and Los Angeles Football Club for fewest goals conceded in the League. Similarly, Columbus is tied with D.C. United for most shutouts this season in regular-season action.


ZACK STEFFEN SHUTOUT STREAK COMES TO AN END


Zack Steffen’s shutout streak came to an end in the 55th minute of Saturday’s contest against the Montreal Impact. Steffen’s streak began in the sixth minute of a home contest against the New York Red Bulls (March 2), with the goalkeeper not allowing a goal until Saturday’s match. Notably, Steffen’s 499-minute shutout streak is now second on the Crew’s list of all-time regular-season shutout streaks, behind the 525-minute shutout streak which he set last season. In 2019, Steffen has made six regular-season appearances (all starts), making 21 saves and registering four shutouts.


FRANCIS MAKES 100TH REGULAR-SEASON APPEARANCE IN MLS


With his appearance in Saturday’s road match against the Montreal Impact, defender Waylon Francis reached his 100th regular-season appearance (86th start) in MLS since joining the League in 2014. Of Francis’ 100 regular-season appearances, 89 of them have come with Crew SC. In Saturday’s match, Francis played the entire 90 minutes and made three tackles, more than any player for the Crew during the contest. In 2019, Francis has made six regular-season appearances (all starts) for the Black & Gold.


HIGUAIN: JOINT REGULAR-SEASON ASSIST LEADER FOR CREW SC


Federico Higuain is currently tied with Robert Warzycha on the Crew’s list of all-time regular-season assist leaders and needs only one more helper to overtake Warzycha as the outright all-time leader. Notably, Higuain’s assist against New England was also his 20th game-winning assist in regular-season action, extending his lead as Columbus’ leader in this category.


BLACK & GOLD: BOUNCE-BACK KINGS AT HOME


Since August 12, 2017, Crew SC is undefeated in matches at MAPFRE Stadium following a road-loss in regular-season action. Over that span, the Crew has compiled a winning record of 6-0-2, while outscoring opponents 18-10. The streak began in 2017, when Columbus defeated the Chicago Fire 3-1 at home (August 12) following a 2-1 loss on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes (August 5).


WILLIAMS ON THE VERGE OF 150TH MLS REGULAR-SEASON APPEARANCE


Josh Williams is on the verge of making his 150th MLS regular-season appearance. Williams, 31, joined MLS in 2010 and has made 149 regular-season appearances (131 starts) to date. With his next appearance, Williams will reach 150 regular-season appearances in MLS. Notably, Williams has made 117 regular-season appearances (103 starts) for Crew SC.
