Supporters encouraged to arrive early Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium for regular-season finale against Minnesota United FC

In addition to Crew SC regular-season match, final day of 2018 Quarter Horse Congress at the Ohio Expo Center also takes place on Sunday -- supporters encouraged to arrive early to account for potential additional traffic getting to MAPFRE Stadium and the parking lots at the Ohio Expo Center; additional reminders are provided about General Lot Parking for this weekend and other MAPFRE Stadium venue policies

COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew SC hosts Minnesota United FC at MAPFRE Stadium on Decision Day, presented by AT&T, on Sunday, October 28 at 4:30 p.m. ET with Crew SC looking to secure a postseason berth into the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs. Gates at MAPFRE Stadium will open at 3:00 p.m. ET for the match (90 minutes prior to the match). The Upper 90 Lounge also opens to ticketed supporters inside the venue at 3:00 p.m. ET. Tickets to the regular-season finale remain, available at ColumbusCrewSC.com.

Sunday is also the final day of the 2018 Quarter Horse Congress at the Ohio Expo Center. As such, Crew SC and MAPFRE Stadium wish to remind supporters to arrive early on Sunday to account for potential additional traffic getting to MAPFRE Stadium and the parking lots at the Ohio Expo Center. MAPFRE Stadium gates open at 3 p.m. ET.

En route to the venue, Crew SC supporters may see signage reflecting a $25 general parking fee for Ohio Expo Center parking lots attributable to Quarter Horse Congress operations. It is important to note that Crew SC supporters will only be charged the standard $15 for general parking to attend the match against Minnesota United FC.

All parking passes previously issued for this match remain valid and will be accepted regardless of any other Quarter Horse Congress parking signage.

As a reminder, MAPFRE Stadium’s “No Bag” policy for soccer matches, introduced back in March, remains in effect for this regular-season finale. Per the new policy, bags larger than 5-by-8-by-1-inches will not be allowed at soccer matches held at MAPFRE Stadium. The “No Bag” policy does include an exception: guests with medical or childcare needs will be permitted to carry a single bag into MAPFRE Stadium. In order to expedite entry, those needing to bring a handbag for medical or childcare needs should contact our supporter services at 614-447-4169 or TicketOffice@ColumbusCrewSC.com in advance of the match for further instructions.

All items and individuals entering MAPFRE Stadium are subject to inspection. Supporters may visit http://MAPFREStadium.com/stadium-info for additional information on permissible items and other MAPFRE Stadium policies. All bags, 5-by-8-by-1-inches or exempt, will still be searched. Winter hats, gloves, blankets and coats are certainly permitted and are encouraged for this match.
