2017 (Columbus): Hollingsworth did not make an appearance for Crew SC this season. While on loan with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, he made 20 appearances (16 starts), scored two goals and provided two assists. Hollingsworth started in a home match against the New York Red Bulls II and notched an assist (March 25). He started in a home match against FC Cincinnati (April 1), a road contest against the Charleston Battery (April 8) and a home contest against Saint Louis FC (April 12). Hollingsworth made a substitute appearance in a road contest against the Charlotte Independence (April 15). He started in a road contest against the Richmond Kickers (April 22), scoring a goal that was nominated for USLSoccer.com’s Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week. He started in a home contest against Toronto FC II, providing the assist on the winning goal (May 3). He started at Toronto FC II (April 17) and registered an assist. He played 45 minutes with Crew SC during a substitute appearance in the international friendly against Veracruz (May 11). He made one appearance in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and scored one goal. He registered his first professional goal during a start at left midfield in the win over Tampa Bay (June 15).

COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Hollingsworth made 92 appearances for Wheaton over his four seasons with the Thunder, making 85 starts. He scored 45 goals and added 21 assists for his collegiate career, including a 22-goal season in 2015, which ranked seventh in program history for single-season tallies. He participated in Crew SC's College Combine at MAPFRE Stadium ahead of being drafted by the Black & Gold.

Hollingsworth is the son of Mark and Michelle and has two sisters, Marissa and Mia. Away from the game, Hollingsworth likes hanging out with friends and family and doing activities such as catching up on life and playing board games like Settlers of Catan. He loves all other sports and likes watching hockey, where he is a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks. He loves the city of Chicago. He is a movie buff with his all-time favorite being Saving Private Ryan. He lists his mom's taco chili as his favorite food and if he could visit any place in the world, he would select New Zealand. If he weren't a soccer player, he would be interested in coaching and mentoring the youth. He speaks English and a small amount of Spanish.
