PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2013 (Crew): In his first season in MLS, made 13 starts at centerback and scored one goal before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee on June 13 in the club’s Fourth Round match of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Chicago. Made his Crew -- and MLS -- debuts in the start at Chivas USA (March 2) and scored his first career goal -- a header goal -- off a corner kick against San Jose (March 16). Was issued his fifth yellow card in the match at Toronto (May 18) and missed the match at New York (May 26) while serving a mandatory one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation. Made two starts at centerback in the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, starting in the Third Round win against Dayton Dutch Lions (May 29) and in the 2-1 loss in the Fourth Round at Chicago (June 13) before departing in the ninth minute with the knee injury.

2010-13 (Rapid Bucuresti): Gláuber appeared in 46 Romanian La Liga matches for Rapid Bucuresti over two and a half seasons, scoring one goal. Gláuber played the full 90 minutes in Rapid Bucuresti's 1-0 win over SC Heerenveen during 2012-13Europa League play.

2010 (São Caetano): In a short stint with Brazilian Paulista side São Caetano, Gláuber played 477 minutes in six games in his return to Brazil.

2008-09 (Manchester City FC): During his lone season in England, Gláuber played six minutes at leftback against Bolton Wanderers.

2005-08 (1. FC Nürnberg): In three Bundesliga seasons, the Brazilian centerback made 51 appearances en route to winning the 2007 DFB Pokal with Nürnberg. Initially on loan with the German side in 2005, Gláuber was an immediate starter, leading to a full transfer from Palmeiras the next season.

2003-05 (Palmeiras): In his first taste of First Division soccer, Gláuber made 14 apperances over three seasons with São Paulo side Palmeiras in the Brazilian Serie A.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Gláuber's lone appearance for the Brazilian National Team came on April 27, 2005 in an international friendly with Guatemala.
