Six boys teams and six girls teams have earned berths in the 2011 Ohio High School State Soccer Finals slated for this Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, at Columbus Crew Stadium. In all, six champions will be crowned over the two days, with the boys titles decided on Friday and the girls championship matches contested on Saturday, marking the 12th consecutive season that the finals have been played at Crew Stadium.
Friday’s tripleheader will be followed by three more games on Saturday, with the addition this year of a third girls division. Matches on both days kick off with the Division III games at 12 Noon, Division II will follow at 3:30 p.m. and the nightcaps will feature the Division I finalists at 7 p.m. (schedule below).
Four of the teams – Olentangy Liberty and Worthington Christian on the boys side, Dublin Jerome and De Sales on the girls side – hail from the Columbus area. The Crew’s youth development program will be well represented in the boys matches, with a total of 15 players from Crew Soccer Academy and Crew Juniors teams participating.

Worthington Christian (6) – Brett Elder, Mason Highman, Albert Miller, George Miller, Quinn Miller
Gates Mills Hawken (1) – Tom Granot
Tickets are priced at $8 per game, the stadium will be emptied after each game and re-entry will not be permitted. Parking for the event is set at $5.
