Looking back: Crew 2 - Impact 0

The Crew will make its first-ever trip to Montreal this weekend to face Eastern Conference foe, the Montreal Impact. The Black & Gold opened Crew Stadium for the 2012 season with a 2-0 victory against the Impact back on March 24th. Columbus overpowered a 10-man Montreal after Jeb Brovsky's red card in the 19th minute. Milovan Mirosevic put the Crew on the scoreboard first, scoring his first goal for the Black & Gold with a 30th minute penalty kick drawn by Emilio Renteria. Fellow newcomer Olman Vargas put the nail in the coffin during the 65th minute, powerfully heading home a cross from Shuan Francis on the left flank to beat Impact 'keeper Donovan Ricketts for his first tally as a member of the Crew.
