In his first season with Stoke City, 6 foot 7 striker Peter Crouch made an immediate impact to lead the Potters in scoring in 2011-12. Crouch's 10 Premier League goals earned him the club's Player of the Year award. The two-time World Cup veteran's sensational volley from outside the corner of the 18 yard box in the Potters' draw on March 24 with eventual Premier League champion, Manchester City.


Crouch made his first Premier League appearance in 2002 with Aston Villa after spending time with Queens Park Rangers and Portsmouth in the lower divisions. Though the striker came up in Tottenham Hotspur's youth system, though he never made an appearance for the First Team until his second spell with the club from 2009-11. Since then Crouch has spent time with Norwich City, Southampton, and most notably, Liverpool.


In his time at Anfield, Crouch scored 22 goals in 85 appearances with the Reds. The tall, lanky forward led Liverpool with 18 goals in all competitions during the 2006-07 season. In that season, Crouch helped the Reds to an appearance in the UEFA Champions League final.


After Liverpool,  Crouch spent a season with Portsmouth before heading back to Tottenham Hotspur. In two seasons at Spurs, Crouch scored 12 goals in 73 appearances.


Last August, Crouch agreed to a four-year contract with Stoke City after the team spent a record £10 million fee to sign the striker.


Crouch has earned 42 caps the English National Team, with his first coming in 2005. In his time with The Three Lions, Crouch has scored 22 goals. Crouch was on Enlgand's rosters for the 2006 and 2010 World Cups. The striker appeared in all five of England's matches in Germany in 2006 and in two of the team's four matches in South Africa in 2010.
