World-renowned country music star Kenny Chesney returns to Crew Stadium in 2013 as the musician’s camp announced dates for his ‘No Shoes Nation’ Stadium Tour yesterday. Chesney previously played at Crew Stadium in 2007, 2009 and 2011, making June 29, his fourth appearance at the venue.
"We are pleased to welcome Kenny Chesney back to Crew Stadium in 2013," said Columbus Crew President and General Manager Mark McCullers. "This will be Kenny's fourth show at our venue, and Columbus fans always enjoy his performances. This is another hallmark event in Crew Stadium's proud history."
Kenny Chesney has played a country-world record 85 stadium shows in his career and this tour will put him over the 100 mark with 17 stadium dates scheduled. The ‘No Shoes Nation’ Tour starts Saturday, March 16 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. More 'No Shoes Nation' tour dates will be announced in the coming months.
The Corona Light Presents Kenny Chesney's 'No Shoes Nation' Tour, starring Kenny Chesney, will feature special guest Eric Church - whose critically-acclaimed album 'Chief' was named Album of the Year at the 2012 CMA Awards - as well as Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves. Several tour dates will also feature the GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band, whose latest album 'Uncaged' debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 (see tour dates below for details).
