The Crew started its 2014 campaign with a 3-0 victory on the road against D.C. United on Saturday. The Black & Gold were lifted by an early goal from Jairo Arrieta and a pair of goals from Federico Higuaín in Washington. Saturday’s victory against D.C. United marked the first win for Gregg Berhalter as Sporting Director and Head Coach of the Columbus Crew.  “It’s special,” Berhalter said. “But we want to build something here, and we need to establish that.
