Galen Roth became a Season Ticket Member for the first time in 2014. With south-end seats in Section 116, Roth has extended his membership for the 2015 season and is first up in TheCrew.com's profile series of Season Ticket Members, fresh after meeting Giancarlo Gonzalez shortly before his transfer to Palermo.
What have been your impressions of being a Season Ticket Member?
"I came to a lot of games in 2013 too, and my first game was actually Wil Trapp's first game, which was pretty cool. I really like the direction that Gregg [Berhalter] has the team going. I'm really excited for that. I'm excited for the new rebranding and everything that's coming with that. I like where it's heading."
What were the factors behind your decision to go to a full Membership this season?
"I was going through third-party sites to come to matches, but I really like having my own seat. Over the course of the entire season, with matches like the LA Galaxy game, those tickets go really fast. They're more expensive than face value. Over the course of the entire season, you end up saving a lot of money by having season tickets."
What's the best part of being a Season Ticket Member?
"I really like Will, my ticket rep. He's been awesome. He always stops by. Anytime there's an event going on, he lets me know about it. He takes the time to actually talk to me about what's going on with the team. I like the personal connection I have with the team."
